iPhone 3G due in Singapore within two months

Curses!

AsiaOne reports our neighbours across the causeway will be getting their iPhone 3G brought in officially within two months time.

And that’s not the end of it. Apparently the wonder device will cost next to nothing when it makes its debut on the island as it will be paired with various subscription plans. Some even offering the iPhone 3G for free!

Singaporeans have SingTel to thank for actually listening to the consumers and bringing in the iPhone 3G officially a mere two months after the official worldwide launch.

SingTel (which is also the largest mobile operator in Singapore) have started taking reservations for the device since last month but didn’t exactly say how many orders it has received.

As if that’s not enough, StarHub and M1 are also expected to sell the iPhone 3G later this year.

Whatever it is, us poor Malaysians are still without a local operator who is willing to step up to the plate and bring the iPhone 3G to Malaysia officially!

But not to worry, at the rate that this petition is going we have a fighting chance to convince the local telcos to start paying attentions to what their customers are saying.

Send in your support now. Together, we will make it happen!

Malaysia Boleh

  1. Personally, I don’t think Maxis is going to bring up Iphone in Malaysia as the official website of Iphone didn’t even put on Malaysia in its UPCOMING list. Well, it is true that Singtel probably is going to unveil Iphone in coming 2 months, Sept next to nothing depends on subscription and it is opened up for reservation currently.

  2. Malaysia Boleh? its all talk and no progression

  3. There is a lot tokoh here~ Which mean a lot people like to talk cock instead of doing thing. Malaysia is hopeless!
